Hi friends! I spent the last day (on and off...) cleaning my sewing space up in order to not be ashamed to post it on Jennifer's link up! I've so loved seeing so many awesome spaces, and I guess I feel a little nosey looking at everyone else's spots and not posting my own. However... my space was a horrific mess. Honestly. Somehow this part of the house became the resting spot for artwork that has never been hung up. It was messy. Hard to move around. Inefficient. I think I was avoiding sewing because it was so messy. Anyhoo, great motivation caused me to clean up, move some things around, and make this space usable! Very exciting.
My chair is made of some kind of industrial strength rubber bands and it is SO comfortable. In the corner is a vintage singer (Goodwill rules!) and under that pink pillowcase is an older serger. That old wicker dresser holds untold amounts of ribbon, half finished projects, etc. On top of the white shelving unit in the middle is a mug tree (I think) that holds scissors, and to the left is a (GW) chair and then the white cabinet. That holds solids and larger cuts of various fabric. On top of that cabinet are WIPs. There are a lot of them... I need to get moving. I also have a small dry erase board to attempt to keep me on track with my bee blocks. (I do the same thing at work with my to-do's... I love white boards!)
